This is the first big change in plate style since the 90’s when they had the blue and yellow tags.
- 1999: blue, white, and yellow plate
- Alterations: 2004 and 2017
The new plate is a bold celebration of freedom and a powerful nod to Pennsylvania’s historic role as the birthplace of American democracy — just in time for the nation’s 250th anniversary in 2026.
